Leak detection for all fluids
a large range of fluids that can be tested and detected by Bureau Veritas.
Detect leaks on a variety of gas
In industrial plants, process or utility network equipment inevitably suffers from ageing. Seals deteriorate over time and generate leaks, which may turn out to be very costly and hazardous. It is therefore essential to regularly test your pipelines and eliminate all the leaks which inevitably appear on valves, unions, traps, pumps or compressors. This approach will considerable reduce your product losses and your energy bills.
These leaks occur regularly on all types of pipeline networks:
- natural gas (CH4)
- compressed air
- steam
- refrigerant (HFC CFC)
- ammonia (NH3)
- nitrogen (N2)
- hydrogen (H2)
- oxygen (O2)
- hydrocarbons (VOC)
- propane (C3H8)
- butane (C4H10)
- water (H2O)
- carbon monoxide (CO)
- carbon dioxide (CO2)
As well as all other fluids such as SF6, No, SO2, etc. or refrigerants such as: R14, R23, R125, R134a, R152a, R227, R404A, R407C, R410A, R413A, R417A, R507, R508B, Isceon 59, Isceon 89, Forane 23, Forane FX 80, SF6, NH3, etc.
We use specific leak detectors for each fluid and often use a combination of detection techniques, electrochemistry and Infra-Red thermography to improve the reliability of the diagnostics.
